And the winner is...MN Football Hub offensive Top Performer revealed

Top performer winner

Sanjay Redd, SMB. Redd carried the Wolfpack's offensive attack on Oct. 15 to lead SMB, a co-op of St. Paul Academy, Minnehaha Academy and Blake, to a 42-14 victory over Mound Westonka. The junior running back registered three rushing TDs in the first quarter and added a second-quarter rushing touchdown to put the Wolfpack up 28-7 at halftime. In the third quarter, Redd returned a kickoff 79 yards for his fifth TD of the game. He ran for 127 yards and had two receptions for 18 yards.

Top performer candidates

Ben Alsleben, Litchfield. The senior quarterback was the fire in the Dragons’ 49-7 rout of Watertown-Mayer on Oct. 15. He threw six touchdowns — two in each of the first three quarters — accumulating 329 passing yards on his 13-for-18 night.

Johnny DeVore, Mahtomedi. DeVore, a senior quarterback, recorded a 76% pass completion rate on Oct. 16, connecting on 16 passes in the Zephyrs’ 41-14 victory over Hill-Murray. DeVore threw five TDs — three in the first quarter alone — and tallied 348 passing yards. He averaged nearly 22 yards per completion.

Danny McFadden, St. Thomas Academy. The senior running back marched the Cadets to 30-6 defeat of Henry Sibley on Oct. 16. McFadden had 17 carries, tallying 261 rushing yards for an average of 15.4 yards per carry. He scored three of the Cadets’ four touchdowns, including a 43-yard run to open the game's scoring. He broke a 66-yard run for his final TD.

Zach Yeager, Minneapolis North. The senior quarterback completed 12 of 17 passing attempts on Oct. 16, recording 270 passing yards for an average of 22.5 yards per completion in the Polars' 40-10 defeat of Providence Academy. Yeager had five passing TDs, including a 54-yard completion for the final touchdown of the game. He also completed a pair of two-point conversions (1 passing, 1 rushing) and had 41 rushing yards on five carries. He accounted for a total of 311 yards on the night.
