With the high school football season nearing the regular season's final stretch, several teams are hoping to stay in position to lock up subdistrict titles. Week 6 brings with it many important games for several of the top teams in Class 5A, and a clash between St. Michael-Albertville and St. Francis tops that list.

The Knights (4-1, 3-0), ranked No. 6 in the latest Associated Press state high school football poll, can secure at least a share of the North Central Blue subdistrict title with a win over the No. 7-5A Fighting Saints (4-1, 2-1). St. Michael-Albertville's final league contest is against 0-5 Buffalo next week.

If St. Francis can defend its home field, it still has a tough road to the title with a matchup against No. 9-5A Elk River looming in its final league game.

The regular season's final few weeks is always interesting as teams battle for league titles and prepare for playoff runs. This matchup between the Knights and Fighting Saints is just one of those exciting contests and our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
