A look at six other teams who could turn things around this fall.

Others with high hopes for 2015

Metro programs with a great chance to improve on 2014:

Park of Cottage Grove (2-7): The move to the new East Metro Red district should give QB Brandon Alt an even greater chance to shine.

Cooper (5-4): Opponents will get well-acquainted with the backs of the jerseys of QB Phillip Howard and RB Levonte Taylor.

Centennial (6-3): After a 6-2 regular season, a loss to Blaine in the first round of the playoffs still haunts.

Lakeville South (3-6): It all starts with the offensive linemen, and the Cougars have two good ones in Eric Rousemiller and Jack Swanhorst.

Champlin Park (5-4): The Rebels have seven defensive starters back from 2014.

Forest Lake (0-9): With high-end talent in OL Patrick Kasl and QB Payton Ziedler, the Rangers’ on-field losing streak, now at 31 games, ends this season.*

* Forest Lake has been awarded victories in 2013 and 2014 when East Ridge was forced to vacate its 2013 and 2014 seasons due to the use of an ineligible player.
