Q: The best movie you’ve seen in the last year?

A: “The Hobbit.”

Q: Three words your friends or teammates would use to describe you are …

A: Understanding, hardworking and fun-loving.

Q: What is your favorite pregame meal?

A: It would have to be a small amount of pancakes.

Q: What is your most memorable moment as a high school athlete?

A: When I got to be on scout team and watch Mitch Leidner [University of Minnesota quarterback] and Matt Heller [Augustana College wide receiver] up close. That group was amazing.

Q: Name one sport that you wish you could play, and why?

A: I really wish I could play golf. I would just feel like a gentleman if I did.

Q: If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be?

A: I would probably pay the athletes. That would be nice. I don’t have enough time for a job.

Q: Who is your favorite college or pro sports team?

A: The Minnesota Vikings, except they always seem to let me down.

Q: In 10 years, what do you hope to be doing?

A: Rising through the ranks of the Army as a Special Forces operative.

Q: What is the best sports advice you ever received?

A: My mom once told me, “Let your playing do the talking.”
