Six weeks into the season and the Northwest Suburban Conference South Division is a battle between the Maple Grove Crimson and the Osseo Orioles.
Both teams are undefeated in conference play and face off Friday in our Top Game of the Week, with the winner taking sole possession of first place in the league standings.
The Crimson (6-0, 2-0), ranked No. 3-6A, look to continue a season of dominance. Maple Grove has outscored opponents 189-42 through six games.
The Orioles (3-2, 3-0) have bounced back from losses in Weeks 2 and 3 to put together a three-game winning streak. Osseo needs to prove it can can play with top notch opponents after losing to Minnetonka and Eden Prairie. The Orioles haven't won a game against a team currently in the state's Top 10 rankings.
