Minnetonka handed Osseo its only regular season loss last season as the Skippers won 31-28 in Week 2.
Osseo hopes to avoid a similar outcome against Minnetonka when the teams play this Friday.
The Orioles may be the favorite heading into the game after last Friday's performance. The Class 6A power opened the season with a 56-8 thumping of Irondale.
The Skippers, meanwhile, had their hands full with a Class 4A Becker squad but pulled off a miraculous fourth-quarter comeback. Trailing by two points with 21 seconds remaining, Minnetonka drove the field and pulled out a victory when senior Perry Duff Smith nailed a 32-yard field goal as time expired.
With Osseo performing in midseason form and Minnetonka showing a flair for the dramatic, this matchup is our pick as the Top Game of the Week.
