STMA remains undefeated

St. Michael was 2-6 in their last 8 games against cambridge leading up to this game, but they were determined to win.  

In the second quarter, the knights decided to turn up the offense which was started by Dallas Freeman catching a 78 yard touchdown pass from Jackson Greenwaldt but the PAT was unsuccessful making the score 6-0 St. Michael Albertville.  Noah Evans than had a 10 yard touchdown run and the 2 point conversion pass from Greenwaldt to Freeman is successful making the score 14-0 in favor of the Knights.  

Then on the 37 yard line, Cambridge attempted a punt but had a snap over the punters head as Chris Kartes scoops and scores making the score 21-0 knights.  

The Knights then had Chris Kartes Smash the ball up the middle for a 1 yard goal line touchdown making the score 28-0 still in the second quarter.  

The half ended when Landon Bridell made a 26 yard field goal as time winded down making the score at the end of the first half St. Michael Albertville 31 Cambridge 0

St. Michaels defense also had a huge game, allowing only 6 points off a 1 yard touchdown run by Cambridge-Isanti but blocked the PAT, making the final score St. Michael 31 Cambridge Isanti 6

Next up for the Knights is the game of the year for them going up against another undefeated team, Rogers. The winner will decide who is crowned the first champion of the Mississippi 8-Blue Division.
