Rogers’ Bloom gains 348 yards rushing in 12 tries

• ROGERS 41, BIG LAKE 24: Gunnar Bloom rushed for 348 yards — in just 12 carries — and scored four TDs to help the Royals, ranked No. 4 in Class 5A, rally for the victory. Big Lake led 10-0 in the second quarter before the Royals, who rushed for 501 yards, scored 41 unanswered points.

• MAPLE GROVE 49, COON RAPIDS 14: The Crimson, ranked No. 2 in the Star Tribune Metro Top 10, built a 42-0 halftime lead en route to the victory over the Cardinals. Clark Wieneke rushed for 149 yards and two TDs, and Isaac Curtis returned an interception 99 yards for a TD in the first half.

• EAST RIDGE 28, STILLWATER 15: Austin Kamrath rushed for two TDs to help East Ridge, ranked No. 3 in the Metro Top 10, hold off the Ponies. Stillwater pulled within 21-15 with 5:27 remaining on a 21-yard FG by Carter Styrbicki. But East Ridge’s Seth Green threw a 33-yard TD pass to Kjetil Cline in the final minute to clinch the victory.

• LAKEVILLE NORTH 24, EAGAN 0: The Panthers, ranked No. 4 in the Metro Top 10, limited Eagan to five first downs and 83 yards and Jamiah Newell rushed for 126 yards and a TD for the Panthers.

• ROSEMOUNT 61, BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 14: Jackson Erdmann threw two TD passes and Dimitri Williams rushed for two TDs to highlight the victory for the Irish, ranked No. 6 in the Metro Top 10.

• OSSEO 44, ELK RIVER 21: Matt Miedtke threw three TD passes and Prince Krauh rushed for two TDs to lead the Orioles, ranked No. 7 in the Metro Top 10, past the Elks.

• ROSEVILLE 47, FOREST LAKE 13: Andrew Colvard recovered a fumble for a TD, returned a kickoff 90 yards and had an interception to lead the Raiders, ranked No. 10 in the Metro Top 10. The Raiders rushed for 313 yards.

• BECKER 49, ST. CLOUD CATHEDRAL 28: Austen Soare rushed for 179 yards and two TDs to fuel the Bulldogs’ victory. Soare’s 74-yard TD run on the first play of the second half gave Becker, ranked No. 5 in Class 4A, a 34-8 lead.

• DELASALLE 52, ST. ANTHONY 0: Chris Williams rushed for 233 yards and four TDs as the Islanders, ranked No. 7 in Class 4A, ran past St. Anthony.

• HUTCHINSON 43, DASSEL-COKATO 7: Tory Adams rushed for 156 yards and five TDs to lead the host Tigers, ranked No. 1 in Class 4A, past the Chargers.

• SOUTH ST. PAUL 34, SIMLEY 19: Marco Freeman rushed for 269 yards — in just 14 carries — and three TDs as the Packers, ranked No. 2 in Class 4A, ran past Simley. Freeman scored on runs of 73, 60 and 75 yards.

• BELLE PLAINE 40, NORWOOD YOUNG AMERICA 20: Luke Narveson rushed for 138 yards and two TDs and threw a TD pass to lead Belle Plaine, ranked No. 1 in Class 3A.

• WATERTOWN-MAYER 27, MAYER LUTHERAN 17: Brett Johnson threw three TD passes as the Royals, ranked No. 4 in Class 3A, outlasted the Crusaders.

• GLENCOE-SILVER LAKE 42, WACONIA 28: Jake Stuedemann rushed for 197 yards and four TDs as the Panthers, ranked No. 5 in Class 3A, built a 42-7 lead en route to the victory.

• MINNEHAHA ACADEMY 24, BRECK 21: Andy Tangen’s 30-yard FG with four seconds remaining lifted the Redhawks, ranked No. 7 in Class 3A, past Breck. The Mustangs led 14-0 at halftime.

• ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 40, ST. AGNES 7: David Ponath rushed for 114 yards and three TDs and threw a TD pass to lead St. Croix Lutheran, ranked No. 8 in Class 3A.

•ANNANDALE 39, MOUND WESTONKA 23: Andrew Russek rushed for a career-high 289 yards and four TDs to lead the Cardinals to the victory.

• CHAMPLIN PARK 21, ANOKA 10: Datrice Mulsomo rushed for 200 yards and a TD to lead Champlin Park past the Tornadoes.

• HASTINGS 37, WOODBURY 27: Brandon McCarthy rushed for 195 yards and three TDs and threw two TD passes as Hastings pulled away from a 20-20 halftime tie.

• SPRING LAKE PARK 52, ST. LOUIS PARK 0: Grant Walker rushed for 207 yards and two TDs and Richie Toweh rushed for 123 yards and three TDs to lead Spring Lake Park.

• ST. FRANCIS 49, BUFFALO 27: Max Gust rushed 27 times for 230 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Saints past the Bison.
