Pipestone Area prevailed against Redwood Valley 27 to 13 at Pipestone High School in Pipestone on Friday. Pipestone Area and Redwood Valley both scored 6 points to end the first quarter tied. Pipestone Area took the lead in the second quarter with 7 points. The first half closed with Pipestone Area up 13 to 6. In the third quarter Pipestone Area scored 7 unanswered points to keep in the lead. Both teams scored 7 points in the fourth quarter but Pipestone Area kept the lead for the win.

Rushing was key to Pipestone Area's victory. Ossefoort scored a touchdown once.
