Gage Olson powered the win for Ashby, throwing for zero touchdown and running in for another three.

Ashby got the better of Brandon-Evansville 30 to 6 at Ashby High School in Ashby on Friday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first quarter. The second quarter was also scoreless. Neither offense could find a way score in the 3rd quarter either. In the last quarter, with defenses wearing down, Ashby outscored Brandon-Evansville 30 to 6 and took the lead to claim the late win.

What the Ashby offense lacked in yardage, they made up for in scoring. As best rusher for Ashby, Blake Ohren scrambled forward for 200 yards on 18 carries. Ohren ran for a TD once. Blake Ohren also threw for 62 yards with 11 of 23 passes completed. Ohren also threw three interceptions. A go-to receiver all day, Reed Hanson grabbed 8 receptions for 49 yards.
