Ely beat Bigfork 30 to 20 at Bigfork High School in Bigfork on Friday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. With no one scoring in the second quarter both defenses were solid. Both offenses remained unproductive against the superb defenses the 3rd quarter as well. In the final quarter, the ice was finally broken when Ely outscored Bigfork 30 to 20 and took the lead to claim the late win.

Ely's offensive effort was enough for the win.

Bigfork's offensive performance was superior overall, but not enough for the win. Zac Lovdahl ran for 192 yards with 22 carries. Tyler Grover threw for 64 yards with 4 of 7 passes completed. Grover was intercepted once. Andrew Anderson made three nabs for 57 total yards and grabbed one touchdown pass.

Bigfork's defense did their best to hold off Ely, while putting on pressure with three sacks. They managed to force one fumble and also snatched up one fumble.

Bigfork ended the game with a record of 1-2.
