Defenses ruled the day when Holdingford got the better of Pierz 12 to 7 at Holdingford High School in Holdingford on Friday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. Both teams also came up blank in the 2nd quarter. In the third quarter Holdingford tallied up 5 more points than Pierz, grabbing the lead. With both teams scoreless in the fourth quarter, Holdingford held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Holdingford's offensive effort contributed to the victory.

The Pierz offense was outclassed.
