In a hard fought match up, Lac qui Parle Valley triumphed over Benson 21 to 20 at Benson High School in Benson on Friday. Benson outscored Lac qui Parle Valley 14 to 7 to take the lead at the end of the first quarter. Lac qui Parle Valley tied the score in the second quarter with 7 points. The first half closed with both teams at 14 points apiece. Benson managed to take the lead in the third quarter with 6 points. Lac qui Parle Valley engineered a comeback in the fourth quarter with 7 straight points, winning in the end.

Lac qui Parle Valley's offensive effort was enough for the win.

Benson's offense didn't do very well.

This was the first game for both Benson and Lac qui Parle Valley.
