In a hard fought match up, Litchfield won against Orono 30 to 28 at Litchfield High School in Litchfield on Friday. Orono outscored Litchfield 14 to 8 to jump in to the lead at the end of the first quarter. Neither team scored in the second quarter so Orono maintained its lead. Halftime saw Orono ahead 14 to 8, leaving Litchfield to regroup in the locker room. In the third quarter Litchfield went ahead by scoring 16 straight points. In the last quarter Orono outscored their opponents however Litchfield kept its lead, and won the game.

Litchfield's offense got the job done.

The Orono offense didn't fare well.

This was the first game for both Litchfield and Orono.
