Anoka handed a loss to Park Center 34 to 12 at Goodrich Field in Anoka on Thursday. Anoka racked up 14 straight points to take the lead in the first quarter. Anoka gained 7 points in the second quarter and held on to its lead. The half ended with Anoka up 21 to 0. In the third quarter Anoka scored 7 points to keep in the lead. In the fourth quarter Park Center outscored Anoka 12 to 6 however Anoka kept its lead, and won the game.
The Anoka offense did what they had to do for the win.
Park Center's passing game was a bright spot. Nevertheless putting on a great air show, Parker Miller threw for 129 yards with 8 of 17 passes completed. Taylor Kurth made three receptions for 28 total yards.
This was the season's first game for both Anoka and Park Center.
