The Oct. 17 rematch between Eden Prairie and Wayzata is circled on many calenders already, but every week is a tough one in the Lake.

2011 record: 12-1 (Class 5A champions)
• If the Eagles can replace all-metro running back Andrew Larson, they've got the whole package once again. The defense is no problem; tackle Tyson Reinke (6-3, 265) and linebacker Jack Cottrell are the real deal.

2011 record: 5-5
• The Hornets have plenty of experience on defense, which can only help in a loaded conference. Keep an eye on defensive back Marley Allison, a four-year starter. He's one of eight starters returning on defense.

2011 record: 3-6
• Hopkins has to find a way to make up for being a small-sized team compared to its conference mates. A good start is a playmaker like senior free safety Zac Merie, who picked off five passes last season.

2011 record: 8-3
• After a tough trip to play one of Wisconsin's finest during Zero Week, the Skippers are back home with a mission. Minnetonka plans to put on a show with returning skill-position players at quarterback, wide receiver, running back and in the secondary.
Coach: Brad Anderson
2011 record: 12-1 (Class 5A runner-up)
• An already-star-studded team gets a huge boost with the return of 2010 Prep Bowl hero Mitch Underhill, who missed nearly all of last season because of a knee injury. The running back joins returning stalwarts on both sides of the ball.
