After a fast start, Lakeville South turns back Wayzata to win season opener

It's a diminished Football Friday, the bulk of the games having been played Thursday. Next week's Thursday schedule drops off dramatically in numbers, to single digits, but features metro pairings, including Forest Lake at East Ridge, Mounds View at White Bear Lake and Stillwater at Woodbury.
