The victory was the first of the season for the Orioles (1-4) while the loss was the first for the Spartans (4-1).

McCabe Dvorak caught 14 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns for the Orioles and Deontez Ross Jr. three passes for 114 yards and a TD.

Rogers 54, Sauk Rapids-Rice 7: Ben Dahl rushed for 177 yards and three touchdowns and Tyson Vylasek threw three TD passes as the host Royals, No. 4 in Class 5A, cruised to the victory.

Lakeville North 49, White Bear Lake 14: Logan Freeburg rushed for three touchdowns in the first quarter to spark the visiting Panthers, No. 10 in Class 6A.

Mahtomedi 20, Buffalo 19: Johnny Devore’s 12-yard TD pass to Jordan Hull and a PAT by Kyle Oswald with 3 minutes, 40 seconds remaining lifted the Zephyrs, No. 9 in Class 5A, past the host Bison. Mahtomedi stopped the Bison on downs following their go-ahead touchdown.

Dassel-Cokato 45, Watertown-Mayer 0: Eli Gillman ran for three touchdowns and threw a TD pass to pace the host Chargers.
