Wingers try to rebound from loss

The bubble on Red Wing’s 2-0 start burst in a big way last Friday in a 36-0 loss to Holy Angels and the loss left a bitter taste in the mouths of many players. But there isn’t much time for the Wingers to dwell on the loss.

They aren’t wallowing because the team has to prepare for another Missota Conference foe, Northfield.

Red Wing returned to the practice field Monday for a short, but intense practice that focused on conditioning following the loss. The focus on conditioning came in part because of two fourth-quarter touchdowns the team gave up to the Stars.
