After forfeiting its first scheduled game of the season last weekend, the Carlton-Fond du Lac cooperative football program was suspended for the season on Tuesday.
Fond du Lac Ojibwe Athletic Director Mike Patenaude said the team had only 18 players sign up to play and of those, only 10-12 were regularly attending practice.
However, head coach Dennis Korman said the numbers at practice were even fewer.
