Nine standout football players from the Northwest Suburban Conference will participate in the 40th Annual Minnesota Football Coaches Association High School All-Star Game.
J.T. DenHartog, Hopkins, sr., QB: Makes plays with his arm, but had a 44-yard, game-winning run against Houston Episcopal, 91-yard TD run against Minnetonka. Was 147-for-256 for 1,693 yards, 17 TDs passing; 97-580 and 7 TDs rushing.
Deon Dorvil, Edina, sr., DL: 5-11, 290, DT. Speed and strength in a stout, immoveable frame. A great two-gap player who can occupy two lineman and still slide off and make tackles. Stunning initial burst surprises opponents.
