The Lumberjacks, behind quarterback Tim Porkornowski's running and passing, defeated South St. Paul 40-21 in a Class 4A semifinal.
The Winhawks scored twice to take the lead but the Stars came back in the fourth quarter with Joe Heimbold's third TD to escape with a 26-22 victory.
