Top performer winner

Top performer candidates

Terrell Davis-Barber, Bloomington Kennedy. The senior running back had an impressive showing in the Eagles' first win of the season, a 69-42 final over Richfield. He accumulated 349 rushing yards and five touchdowns — including one on a 64-yard run — and averaged 11.3 yards per carry.

Peyton Fobbe, Annandale. The senior quarterback, throwing for 289 yards and rushing for 80 more, helped the Cardinals down Holy Family Catholic 32-12. Fobbe threw for three touchdowns.

Riley Habisch, Buffalo. Habisch scored a season-high five rushing touchdowns in the Bison's 41-20 win over Rogers. The senior running back totaled 222 rushing yards and 32 receiving yards in the regular-season finale.

Hull had his most productive outing since the first game of the season — when he totaled 387 yards and four touchdowns — in last Wednesday's 38-34 win over Wayzata. The senior running back scored three touchdowns on 215 rushing yards and one touchdown on 149 total kick return yards. Hull ranks sixth in the state with 1,516 rushing yards on the season.

Terrell Jones, St. Agnes. The senior running back averaged nearly 12 yards per carry and scored all four Aggie touchdowns — the longest on a 61-yard run — in a 31-28 loss to Minneapolis South. Jones' 20 rushing touchdowns this season is tie for seventh-most in the state.

Corbin Leflay, Hastings. The senior running back had some of his best numbers of the season in the Raiders' 35-9 victory over South St. Paul. Leflay averaged nearly 10 yards per carry and scored four touchdowns on 237 rushing yards.

Lossow threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns, and his 17 rushing yards added two more TDS — the final one coming in the fourth quarter to put the Tigers ahead for good.

Bennett Otto, Champlin Park. The senior quarterback eclipsed the 2,000-yard passing mark this season in the Rebels' 41-34 victory over Totino-Grace. Otto threw for 238 yards and four touchdowns and finished the regular season with 2,134 passing yards and an average of 8.1 yards per attempt.
