Brandt Berghuis, a 6-foot-1, 220-pound defensive lineman from Rosemount, will be playing his last high school football game this weekend as a member of the South team in Saturday’s All-Star Game at TCF Bank Stadium.

However, unlike many players on both sides of the field who will have their game faces on, it would not be surprising to see Berghuis smiling throughout the game.

Berghuis has enjoyed spending the past week, practicing and getting to know his teammates and opponents in Saturday’s game. He is anxious to get out on the field after suffering a serious knee injury this fall.
