The Minnesota State High School League revamped the semifinal football schedule because of Monday's snowstorm.

The Minnesota State High School League announced schedule changes Wednesday for nine semifinal football games this week.

Here are the changes brought about by field conditions and related concerns after Monday’s storm:

Class 6A
Lakeville North vs. Totino-Grace, 6 p.m. Thursday at Osseo instead of 7 p.m.
Eden Prairie vs. Maple Grove,  6 p.m. Friday at Hopkins High School instead of 7 p.m. at the Edina Community Center.

Class 5A
Spring Lake Park vs. Simley, 3 p.m. Saturday at Hopkins instead of 7 p.m. Friday at Hopkins.

Class 4A
Hutchinson vs. DeLaSalle, noon Saturday at Prior Lake instead of 11 a.m. at Wayzata.
Becker vs. Stewartville, noon Saturday at Osseo instead of 6 p.m.

Class 3A
Pierz vs. Rochester Lourdes, 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Cloud State instead of 8 p.m.

Class 2A
No changes.

Class 1A
Minneota vs. Braham, 3 p.m. Saturday at Prior Lake instead of 5 p.m. Saturday at St. Cloud State.
Minneapolis North vs. Dawson-Boyd, noon Saturday at Hopkins instead of 1 p.m.

9-Man
Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal vs. Edgerton/Ellsworth, noon Friday at St. Cloud State instead of 8 p.m.

The changes stem from snow and icy conditions left on artificial turf fields. Fields south of the Twin Cities received little or no snow. The league also sought to consolidate game sites to make more efficient use of snow removal efforts.

The league said its decisions were based on availability of sites, availability of personnel, field conditions, ability to prepare fields and stadiums, minimal disruptions to schools and communities, and moving games earlier in the day as much as possible due to expected cold weather.

The Prep Bowl, set for Nov. 21-22, will be played at TCF Bank Stadium.

This year marks the first time that semifinal and Prep Bowl games have been played outside in 25 years. Previously they were held at the Metrodome.
