Shutting out the competition, Lake City overcame Goodhue 48 to nothing at Goodhue High School in Goodhue on Friday. Lake City scored 21 points to take the lead in the first quarter. Lake City added 20 straight points in the second quarter and held on to its lead. The first half closed with Lake City up 41 to 0. It would prove to be too much for Goodhue. Neither team scored in the third quarter so Lake City protected its lead. Lake City scored 7 unanswered points in the fourth quarter piling on and winning the game.

Lake City continued their current win streak of five games and ended up with a record of 6-1. Goodhue finished the game with a record of 2 wins and 4 losses.
