Zac Lovdahl brings it as Bigfork counts on its secondary for a win

Zac Lovdahl rushed and scored four touchdowns lifting Bigfork to victory.

Bigfork handed a loss to Mountain Iron-Buhl 28 to 6 at Mountain Iron-Buhl High School in Mountain Iron on Friday. Bigfork tallied up 12 points to jump in to the lead in the first quarter. Bigfork gained 8 straight points in the second quarter and held on to its lead. The half ended with Bigfork ahead 20 to 0. In the third quarter Bigfork chalked up 2 more points than Mountain Iron-Buhl and added to their advantage. With both teams scoreless in the fourth quarter, Bigfork conserved its lead, and was the winner.

Their running game made the difference for Bigfork. Running circles around Mountain Iron-Buhl's defense, Zac Lovdahl rushed forward 27 times for a combined 239 yards. Lovdahl scored a touchdown four times. Ethan Beckman went 0 for 1 passing.

Mountain Iron-Buhl came up short on offense.

Bigfork continued their current win streak of 2 games and ended the game with a record of 4 and 2. Mountain Iron-Buhl suffered their first loss and ended the game with a record of 1 and 1.
