In a lopsided victory, Pillager prevailed over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 55 to 8 at Pillager High School in Pillager on Friday. Pillager scored 14 straight points to take the lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter Pillager outscored their opponents by 6 points and kept the lead. The half ended with Pillager on top 28 to 8. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley would not be able to answer back. In the third quarter Pillager scored 14 unanswered points to keep in the lead. Pillager scored 13 points in the fourth quarter sealing the deal and winning the game.

Pillager's offense got the job done. Ruhl ran for a TD once.
