Robbinsdale Armstrong scores 3 in 2nd QTR keeps lead for a victory, breaks streak of losses

Both defenses were solid, but Robbinsdale Armstrong finished off Park Center 9 to 7 at Pride Stadium in Brooklyn Park on Friday. Neither team managed to put points on the board in the first quarter. Robbinsdale Armstrong took the lead in the second quarter with 3 unanswered points. Halftime saw Robbinsdale Armstrong on top 3 to 0. In the third quarter Park Center managed to outscore Robbinsdale Armstrong 7 to 6, however Robbinsdale Armstrong was able to keep its lead. With both teams scoreless in the fourth quarter, Robbinsdale Armstrong held on to its lead, and was the winner.

The Robbinsdale Armstrong offense did what they had to do for the win.

Though not enough to win, the Park Center offense performed well. Antoine Scott rushed for 111 yards with 29 carries. Scott ran for a TD. Jake Tanner passed for 106 yards with 8 of 13 passes completed. Joe Davis made four catches for 42 total yards.

Robbinsdale Armstrong ended their streak of 4 losing games and ended the game with a record of 1 and 4. Park Center ended the game with a record of 1 and 4.
