Goodridge-Grygla-Gatzke defeated Clearbrook-Gonvick 42 to 12 at Grygla-Gatzke High School on Friday. Neither team managed to get on the scoreboard in the first quarter. Both defenses held strong to shut down scoring in the second quarter. The game remained scoreless going into the fourth quarter as the defensive battle wore on. In the last quarter, the offenses finally got going when Goodridge-Grygla-Gatzke scored 42 points to Clearbrook-Gonvick's 12 and took the lead to claim the late win.

With fewer yards but more points Goodridge-Grygla-Gatzke's offense got the job done. Having an awesome day, Daniel Polansky ran down the field 22 times for a net 148 yards. Polansky ran for a TD once. Hunter McMillin threw for 143 yards with 6 of 7 passes completed. On the receiving end Carter Burks grabbed two receptions for 34 yards and had one touchdown grab.
