Osakis defeated New York Mills 35 to 14 at Osakis High School in Osakis on Friday. Osakis tallied up 14 straight points to jump in to the lead in the first quarter. Osakis added 7 straight points in the second quarter and held on to its lead. Halftime saw Osakis up 21 to 0. In the third quarter Osakis scored 7 unanswered points to keep in the lead. In the fourth quarter New York Mills outscored their opponents however Osakis kept its lead, and won the game.

Osakis's offensive effort contributed to the victory. Frederick ran for a TD twice.

New York Mills was weaker on offense.
