MN high school football statewide rankings: Anoka ascends in Class 6A, Two Rivers rises in 5A

Class-by-class rankings

Three high school football teams — Anoka, Two Rivers and North Branch — moved up in their respective classifications in this week’s state football rankings decided by Minnesota sports writers.

North Branch, previously unranked in Class 4A, moved into the top 10 after handing 4A’s No. 4-ranked team, previously undefeated Duluth Denfeld, its first loss on Friday.

The rankings are compiled by the Minnesota Star Tribune’s Jim Paulsen and distributed statewide by the Associated Press.
