Marshall running back Beau Bofferding has committed to play for the University of Minnesota-Duluth, according to the Marshall Independent.

Bofferding made his choice after visiting the school last weekend. He will compete for the Division II Bulldogs in both football and track and field.

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound senior put together an epic career as a running back for the Tigers. In his senior season, Bofferding amassed 1,423 yards and 34 touchdowns in 10 games.

His 34 rushing touchdowns put his career total at 59, landing him fifth on the state's all-time rushing touchdown list.
