Eden Prairie running back Andrew Larson (28) carried Wayzata tacklers with him on a run from scrimmage during the game on Oct. 19 at Wayzata.
One round into the state football tournament and this much we know as all the surviving teams set their GPS devices for downtown Minneapolis: In Class 5A, Eden Prairie and Wayzata are still pretty good teams.
Aw, heck. They dominate.
Both teams breezed into the state semifinals with Eden Prairie knocking out Anoka 35-21 and Wayzata smashing Moorhead 49-14.
On opposite sides of the bracket, the two would meet for the state championship on Nov. 25 with a victory in this week's semifinals. When they played on Oct. 19, Wayzata prevailed 9-0.
