We task our reporters with identifying several intriguing games throughout the state to assemble our Top Games of the Week. The matchups are presented in no particular order, and when there are additional games we want to highlight, we’ll include them with brief notes.

Other games to keep an eye on

New London-Spicer vs. Annandale, 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27. No. 8-3A Annandale (4-0, 2-0) figures to get its first serious challenge of the season against East Central South Subdistrict opponent and fellow unbeaten New London-Spicer (4-0, 2-0).

Perham vs. Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, 7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 27. The Midwest Red Subdistrict is loaded — undefeated Detroit Lakes is ranked No. 7 in Class 4A, while Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (4-0, 3-0) and Perham (4-0, 3-0) are No. 4 and No. 10, respectively, in Class 3A and haven't lost yet. Only one will leave Friday's showdown with a perfect mark still intact.
