Joel Hopkins' 5 TD grabs in Week 1 are confirmed as state record-tying

Becker's Joel Hopkins caught five touchdown passes in a 42-33 victory over Buffalo in Week 1 of this high school season, a number that has been confirmed as tying a state record according to the state coaches association records.

Hopkins had TD grabs of 12, 31, 38, 33 and 16 yards in the game.

Becker is 2-1 on the season and faces Little Falls on Friday.
