Lee DeHough hits nine extra points in game against St. James

Southland kicker Lee DeHough flirted with history Friday, Sept. 16.

In 69-12 blowout victory over St. James, the Rebels junior placekicker earned a spot on the state's all-time list by kicking nine extra points, according to KAAL TV.

DeHough, a former soccer player, is now tied for third all-time for extra points in a game in Minnesota.

The overall record of 12 was set in 1988 by Hastings kicker Ryan Rambacher, according to the Minnesota Football Coaches Association records. Rambacher is followed by Matt Ostrow of Minneapolis South, who notched 10 extra points in 2008.

DeHough had a chance to tie Ostrow Friday, but failed on one extra point attempt.
