PEQUOT LAKES – Nevin Greer need not worry about confidence anymore.
The senior quarterback marched his Pequot Lakes Patriots 75 yards on six plays in less than two minutes for yet another come-from-behind victory Friday.
Greer hit Riley Johnson in the left corner of the end zone with 23.5 seconds remaining to lift Class 3A’s seventh-ranked Patriots over East Grand Forks 14-7 and remain unbeaten at 3-0.
Before Pequot’s final drive, Greer struggled. He was just 2-for-11 for 12 yards, but his coach had confidence in him.
