The top three positions in the Metro Rankings remain unchanged, with Lake Conference powerhouses Eden Prairie and Wayzata in the top two. With the Trojans losing star running back Mitch Underhill for the season, Wayzata will have a tougher road back to the Class 5A state championship.
In the South Suburban Conference, both Rosemount and Lakeville South inched up in the rankings with Week 1 wins. Rival Lakeville North also emerges from the south after a convincing win over Eastview.
