The Osakis football team controlled the two most important areas of the game last Thursday night on its way to a season-opening win over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg.

The Silverstreaks proved that a bruising running game and strong defense go hand-in-hand with winning in the Prairie Conference. They controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball as they ran past the Saints 19-6 to get their season off on the right foot.
