LE SUEUR — St. Peter’s comeback fell short in the annual battle of Highway 169 Friday as the Le Sueur-Henderson Giants held on to defeat the Saints 21-13.

The Giants jumped to a 6-0 lead in the first quarter on a fourth-down, 26-yard side line pass from quarterback Jack Swanberg to wide receiver Christian Dwyer with 1:34 left. The extra point kick went wide.
