Cretin-Derham Hall announced Tuesday the hiring of Chuck Miesbauer as the schools’ head coach.

Miesbauer is a 2003 graduate of Cretin-Derham Hall. He played college football at Concordia (St. Paul) and was an assistant football coach in 2008 before becoming an assistant coach at the University of Mary (N.D.). He moved on to Presentation College in Aberdeen, S.D., as defensive coordinator before becoming head football coach in 2017. His teams compiled a 9-11 record in two seasons.

“I am extremely excited to re-join the Cretin-Derham Hall Raider football family,” Miesbauser said in a news release. "Being a Raider and playing for Coach [Rich] Kallok helped shape me into the person I am today.”

In addition to coaching football, Miesbauer will be the school’s alumni and gift development officer.

Miesbauer replaces Brooks Bollinger, who resigned in February after three seasons as coach.
