Waconia at Chaska
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6

This matchup features the top two teams in the Suburban White subdistrict standings, and two teams driven by different styles of quarterback play.

Chaska enters Friday's showdown on a roll, having defeated Chanhassen, Orono and Apple Valley in the past three weeks. Senior Connor Souba is a dual-threat who has passed for 781 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for a team-high 384 yards and six rushing TDs this season for the No. 6-5A Hawks (5-0, 2-0).

Waconia (3-2, 2-0) is licking its wounds after a 28-21 overtime loss to Orono last week, but the Wildcats can look to Nolan Vanderhoff to help ease the sting. The senior has 12 passing touchdowns, helping his team average 30.8 points per game.

The winner will take at least a share of the Suburban White subdistrict title, and the teams have split the two games against each other since the start of district play, with Waconia beating Chaska 14-13 last year.
