Roseville at Champlin Park
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 6

A reeling Champlin Park squad looks to rebound with a victory over a much-improved Roseville team in this nonleague matchup.

Joey Faulds scored two touchdowns in the No. 9-6A Rebels' 46-28 loss to Blaine last week, giving him a team-best eight TDs for an offense averaging 28.4 points per game this season.

The loss was the second in the last three games for the Rebels (3-2, 2-2), who need to shore up a pass defense that allowed 243 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air against the Bengals -- especially as they face Roseville's proficient passer Luke Bouchart.

The senior quarterback has thrown for 788 yards and six touchdowns this season. He finished 10-for-14 passing for 154 yards and one TD last week to help the Raiders (4-1, 3-1) dismantle White Bear Lake 41-6 and rebound from their lone loss -- a 17-16 defeat to No. 10-6A East Ridge.
