Chanhassen vs. Benilde-St. Margaret's
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22

Undefeated Benilde-St. Margaret's tries to stay that way against Chanhassen, a team looking to bounce back from its first loss.

The reigning Class 4A champion Red Knights (3-0, 2-0) put together a statement win last week by crushing No. 8-4A DeLaSalle 60-21 while the No. 10-5A Storm fell to rival Chaska 14-0.

Chanhassen (2-1, 1-1) has been solid defensively, allowing just 12.3 points per game this season. However, it may have its hands full with No. 3-4A Red Knights senior quarterback Tommy Anderson (376 passing yards, 6 TDs) and senior running back Liam Ford, who has rushed for 225 yards in two games.

The Storm's running game has been its primary success, as four players have more than 100 yards this season. Junior running back Jacob Miller (271 rushing yards, 3 TDs) leads the pack and hopes to add to his touchdown total after being held out of the end zone in Week 3.

The Red Knights spent a brief one-year stint in the Metro West Conference in 2014, where they fell to Chanhassen 28-27 in their lone matchup.
