Chaska at Chanhassen
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15

Rivals Chaska and Chanhassen have met twice in each of the past two seasons, with the Hawks sweeping the games in 2015 and the Storm winning both last year. The teams won Suburban White subdistrict games last week to move to 2-0, and this week's winner will take sole possession of first place in the league standings.

Chaska's defense was key to a 35-0 victory over Bloomington Kennedy in Week 2, while senior quarterback Connor Souba has led the Hawks offense, throwing for 316 yards and two touchdowns and adding 167 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Chanhassen hopes to repeat as subdistrict champion behind the play of junior running backs Jacob Miller (182 rushing yards, 3 TDs) and Matthew Boyum (149 rushing yards, 2 TDs).
