Benilde-St. Margaret's at DeLaSalle
2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16

Expect a contrast in styles in when reigning Class 4A state champion Benilde-St. Margaret's (2-0, 1-0) travels to DeLaSalle (2-0, 1-0) in a Suburban Red subdistrict matchup.

The No. 4-4A Red Knights have been stellar on defense, allowing just 7.0 points per game this season. Senior running back Gabe Jackson had 123 yards on nine carries last week, after rushing for just 1 yard in Week 1.

The Islanders offense has been impressive, totaling 89 points in their first two games. Senior running back Sage Booker has been the catalyst, with 400 rushing yards and five touchdowns. DeLaSalle won the last five matchups with Benilde-St. Margaret's (2012-2014), including victories that eliminated the Red Knights in the section playoffs each year. However, Benilde-St. Margaret's has won the last two matchups, including a 28-22 overtime win a season ago.
