Lakeville North at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8

Any program that sustains the success these two have experienced is able to reload with talented players annually, and there is plenty of talent to showcase in this matchup.

Grant's Eagles feature two senior players who have committed to Division-I football programs in defensive back Benny Sapp III (Minnesota) and offensive lineman Joe Schreiber (North Dakota State). There's also a prospective college recruit in senior linebacker Antonio Montero. Eden Prairie's offense is led by junior quarterback Cole Kramer and senior running back Solo Falaniko.

Lakeville North, meanwhile, is led by its offensive line, which features senior Nathan Boe, who has committed to Minnesota. The line's talent was on display in last week's 62-0 pounding of Burnsville when the Panthers rushed for 355 yards, with junior running back Brian Curtis Jr. picking up 120 yards and three touchdowns. Bigger yet, the Panthers showed discipline by not committing a single penalty while the defense returned two interceptions for touchdowns.
