Maple Grove at Minnetonka
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7

Minnetonka's resurgent season took its first hit last week when it was shut out by West Metro District South Division rival Eden Prairie. The No. 7-6A Skippers hope to bounce back while hosting Maple Grove.

While the Crimson (3-2, 2-2) sit two games out of first place in the league standings, they certainly cannot be overlooked. Their only losses came against Edina and Eden Prairie, and they have won each of the past two matchups with Minnetonka, including a 35-14 win a year ago.

If the Skippers (4-1, 3-1) are to get back into the win column, they'll need to find an answer for Maple Grove quarterback Brad Davison. The senior boasts team highs in passing (929 yards, 8 touchdowns) and rushing (572 yards, 7 TDs).
