Chanhassen at Chaska
7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7

Chanhassen has experienced a rough stretch against its longtime rival Chaska. However, the No. 6-5A Storm (5-0, 4-0) appear to be poised to end a four-game losing streak to the Hawks (3-2, 3-1) when the teams square off in a Suburban District White Division matchup this week.

The Chanhassen offense has averaged 44.8 points per game this year, which is up 20 points from last year. A lot of credit goes to Storm senior Alex Spillum, a dual-threat quarterback who leads the team with 603 passing yards, 596 rushing yards and 15 total touchdowns.

The Hawks offense is led by senior quarterback Alex Strazzanti, who has team-high in passing yards (498), rushing yards (395) and total touchdowns (8).
